The visit from Grace and Emily was fantastic. There was a great buzz around school during their visit, and we had children talking about books, becoming authors and illustrators, and many writing their own stories! When speaking to the children, many commented on the great Q&A session that Grace and Emily took part in. They really enjoyed hearing about local people who have gone on to write and illustrate a real-life book!”

Testimonials
The author and illustrator sessions run by Grace and Emily were fantastic. The children loved hearing the story of ‘City Kitty’ being read aloud by Grace. After hearing the story, the children took part in drama-based activities, which they all thoroughly enjoyed. We have many creative children in our school, so Emily’s illustrator sessions were right up their street. They loved creating their own ‘missing’ pets and learning about the whole process.’
